{BOSS!} of cakes!

Steven and I are on Staten Island for a baseball tournament this long holiday weekend, thankfully he had two morning games which gave us a Saturday night off with beautiful weather!  Never does this happen people....never!  Before I hopped {and by hopped I clearly mean stepped very carefully because I'm a full blown klutz!} into the shower I asked Steven to search for something for us to do tonight!  Here's what he came up with!

When you arrive outside the bakery you have to go to furthest line and get a ticket.  We were lucky 17! 

I BEGGED BEGGED BEGGED Steven to let me ask the lovely lady behind us in line if she would take our photo, he was totally against it and I'm pretty sure he hated me at that moment.  But I'm all about creating memories and this was one I didn't want to forget.  So for this, Steven, you get 

ONE BILLION husband points!

All the sweets! We didn't buy any of the items photographed....because this is really all we could see haha

I told Steven he wasn't allowed to open the box of goodies until I was able to photograph it...boy the lighting is terrible in this hotel room!

The line outside of the bakery wasn't too bad about 20 minutes the line inside.........that is a whole other story...SO many people is a very small space, no real rhyme or reason.  With one bite of my carrot cake cupcake...I completely forgot about the inside experience ;)

Thanks to my super awesome husband for knowing I've always wanted to go here and I'm so happy we were only 20 minutes away!  Now I can cross off another thing on my "30 things to do before I turn 30" list!

Wooo hoooo!!!  I'm still very excited in case you couldn't tell!
