Stacy and Ryan capped off my second Christmas tree farm wedding of 2013!  You can see the other tree farm wedding here!  I’ve known Stacy and Ryan for a few years, we have mutual friends and have attended parties and weddings together, so when they contacted me to photograph their wedding, I was so honored and excited!

Stacy and her beautiful bridesmaids were busy bees putting on their finishing touches and when Stacy stepped into her wedding dress, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room (yes, that includes me…I cry at every wedding!).  She was absolutely stunning!  We loaded up and headed off to Allen Hill Tree Farm, where Stacy & Ryan shared their first look, amongst the rows of apple trees, it was a photographers dream!

 The ceremony was beautiful, the benches Ryan made with trees from the land they just built their first home on, and I’m a sucker for sentimental details! The views of the endless rows of Christmas trees and the enormous rock they used as their backdrop fitted their theme of “rustic elegance” perfectly.

Stacy and Ryan did not miss any details on their wedding day, the centerpieces and burlap runners, cake, white lanterns, antique windows used as table seating…everything…. perfect!  Allen Hill Tree Farm provides plenty of amazing locations for photo-ops!  Watching the sun set over the tress had everyone outside enjoying the view!

Ohhhh helllo GORG!!!

P.S. These lanterns are my favorite!

Stacy & Ryan- Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your wedding, it was such an honor to capture the love you two share.  You certainly know how to throw a party!!  Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, keep on laughing!

My Weekend...on Moday

Things have been a little crazy in my personal life these past few weekends, so I've slacked on taking and posting pictures of my life.

This weekend, we celebrated my aunts birthday, we took our annual trip to the pumpkin orchard...I only took a few photos and I regret it now...but here there are non the less!

I've got a few more blogs planned and then a blogging challenge scheduled for November, so plan to be seeing a lot more of me :) {lucky you!!}

Rusted post....finding the beauty.

Do you have any fall traditions?

Five on Friday!

Five things you might or might not know about me....

1.  I'm mildly obsessed with exclamation points!  {If you get an email or text from me and there's only one exclamation point...it's because I deleted 3 before I sent it!!!!} Not this kind of exclamation though, that's just old school!

2. I have cried at every wedding I've ever photographed!  Usually during the personalized vows or the father/daughter dance.  Tears...big baby over here!  {I click right through the tears though, so no worries}  I laugh at too, I've had the pleasure of meeting some of the best people!

3. Thanks to a good friend, I listen to nothing but audio books.  {I never have the time to sit down and read, so this is my way of getting recreational reading in!} I listen in my car, in my ear at work, while I edit, while I cook, while I clean, while I live and breath.  Check out Audible!

4.  My boyfriend, Andy Cohen, introduced me to the "Frescuila"- Yes.  Fresca and Tequila {I'm
partial to El Espolon Tequila, it's delish!}  It's kinda-sorta like a margarita, but better, much better!  They are light, refreshing and has fizz {which is muy importante! See what I've done there?}

5. I LOVE Christmas, more than any normal person should.  My dad collects Christmas décor and has the most amazing collection, I lust over it each year!!  When I moved in with my boyfriend... now husband {Hi Mr. Blinn!} I too started a collection, I find myself drawn towards the ugly Santa's.  The creepier the better! I stop at all tag sales scouring for Christmas décor in hopes my collection will be as amazing as my dads, one day!

Well, now you probably know more about me then you wanted to!  Now...tell me something about you!  Comment below!
