Hilary is a very special young woman; she is my husband’s cousin.  I’ve known Hilary since she was a teenager so being selected to photograph her wedding was a great honor.  Joel, Hilary’s fiancé, is in the Navy and together they had been living in Hawaii (lucky I know!), so it was funny they had a winter wonderland themed wedding! With a blizzard arrive the day before; a winter wonderland theme was exactly what they got!!

Joel and Hilary were married on December 30, 2012 in Salem, Massachusetts at the Waterfront Hotel and Spa. Everything was so perfectly executed- from the sparkling centerpieces, to the snowflakes on the cake and dance floor to the beautiful white muff Hilary adorned.  Okay I cant keep blabbing and not share a slew of photos…enjoy!

  

Hilary and Joel decided to do a first look, which is one of my new favorite things, since their weddings I've done two more, including a no-look first look!

{I do} Anna & Steve

Anna wanted a winter wedding..."Even if it snowed just for pictures I'd be happy!" she said.  And boy ohhhhh boy did it snow!  There was a beautiful downpour of snow as soon as their ceremony started, when we went outside, it was cold. cold. cold, but seeing the snow falling sweetly as Anna and Steven cuddled into one another made it all worth it!

 Anna lost her brother, Sam, to suicide and this was her sweet tribute to him to ensure he was close to her on her special day.  {If you are feeling depressed or wanting to hurt yourself please call the suicide help line at 1-800-273-8255 or talk to someone! Anna & Steve are both in the Military-  Anna is a Combat Medic currently serving in Afghanistan, while Steve finishes his training.  There's so much love between these two, I know this difficult time apart will only bring them closer!
